My first picturebook, 'One of my ordinary days', explores childhood memories and feelings evoked by colour and texture through painting. I enjoyed character development inspired by the giraffes’ movements, characteristics, and anatomy. The process was underpinned by the realisation of looking at the world from a child perspective.
