This book is my final project at ISIA Urbino; a screen printed picture book adapted from one of Dino Buzzati's short stories, "Le mura di Anagoor", from the collection "Sessanta Racconti". In this adaptation, I wanted to remain faithful to the spirit of the original story, then interpret and translate it into a visual and written style closer to my own. Even if it is an adaptation, most of the elements of this story are original, like the narrative progression, Lidia's character and the fantastic creatures, that are not present in the original story. It explores themes about waiting, escape, the search for something different from our reality, and the immobility of the process. It's a story about time passing as we wait for something to happen, even if we are moving.
