Agne Kananaitiene | Lithuania
This book is a poem about different elderly people – somewhat fictional, somewhat similar to those we encounter in our surroundings. The text has elements of nonsense, a bit of the limerick tradition, and the images invite you to dive into the world of imagination and play—to examine the details in the environment, to think about what connects them and what separates them. If you only read the images, don't miss the red ball! And after reading, you can think about what other different people you have seen or come up with your own.
The translation of the text is a rough draft; the original text is rhymed.
