Mister Pudding tells the story of a pain that grows
and manifests itself in surprising ways. The apparent
impossibility of coping with a significant loss is
metaphorically revealed in the exponential growth of the
house dog, which ends uptaking over every space.
Mr Pudding becomes a symbol of how, when we lose
someone we love, the sadness can become so great that
it seems insurmountable, but with time we learn to live
with it, and even that pain seems manageable again.
