All right, no one is an island; but what if we were all planets?
There would be planets ruled by an anarchic cat
or a perfectly polite mite,
planets where you talk to flowers and the wind,
others where silence becomes a curtain,
planets with no doors and no walls,
and others where you cross over death thoughtfully.
"On my planet" is a collection of short illustrated poems
that all begin (almost) the same way
and end up as a galaxy.
The poems were written in italian - a draft english translation is provided next to the italian text.
Illustrations are by Nadia Corfini and text by Simone Perazzone.
