An alien and a child meet and spend the day together, exploring their differences while discovering surprising connections through shared experiences. After watching E.T. at the age of 9, I often imagined what it would be like to have an alien friend. The child character is inspired by me, with elements from my childhood home subtly incorporated into the illustrations.
