My project began as daily sketches of a small horse and eventually evolved into a plan for a 64-page silent book.
The silent book tells the story of a little, curious red horse who lives in its own tiny universe with its mates. One day she gathers the courage to leave its herd and enchanted home and venture beyond the horizon of her world. What will she find at the end of her long journey? Will there be someone waiting for her, or will she go completely unnoticed in a new environment? The narrative shifts between reality, daydreaming, and dreaming at night. It delves into the issue of friendship, forming new connections, and the shifting boundaries between the imaginative and real worlds.
All the artwork is created by hand using traditional methods such as charcoal, soft pastels, colored pencils, and watercolors. minor smudges and brush hair were cleaned up with Photoshop.
