“ ten “ " ten ten “ " ten ten ten “.... As more and more dots are added…… The Japanese word “点” (てん・ ten) means "dot” in English. This work, based on the idea that * Everything is made of elementary particles *, was created in the hope that it would make people think about the visible and invisible. My hand, the pencil in front of me, the oxygen and carbon dioxide we breathe as a matter of course are all a collection of tiny particles. We are happy, laugh, sometimes cry or get angry at visible things, and even if we can't see them, we can feel them on our skin, sense them by temperature, and we receive various things. I would be happy if you could think of various things in this world created from dots, and if you could expand your imagination. This picture book contains onomatopoeic words spoken by Japanese people, so I would be happy if children and adults from various countries could enjoy the sounds and rhythms of the sounds together by speaking aloud. Through this picture book, I am happy that people can enjoy the fun and wonder of words and sounds, and that it can be a conversation starter for people. This work was produced in 2020, revised in 2022,2023 and further revised and produced this year, 2024.
