The idea for My Day is to have four different languages shown throughout the book, to highlight that kids like to have fun whatever language they speak and wherever they’re from. Each spread shows super simple scenarios and phrases to make it as easy to read as possible. Children can get used to seeing words in other languages and have fun trying to say them. The hope of the book is to embrace our differences as well as our similarities. This draft version is in English, French, Spanish and Yoruban. AND, to all you multilinguists, please forgive my translations, I’ve only used google translate!
