Have you seen a blue tomato before? A blueberry, Blu, who tried to become red as he found out he was the only one in blue in the tomato basket. He went on an adventure and search for ways to become a red tomato. At the end of the story, he realised he was the happiest being himself, in blue.

This story is inspired by my own experience as a person who struggled from eating disorder. I valued myself according to my own physical appearance which affected my self-worth greatly for years. Eating disorder is not a common topic in the picture book market as it seems very dark and sensitive, people always avoid talking about that. However, eating disorder actually affect a large amount of teenager, even young children. By using fun food characters and silly ideas, I wish this sensitive topic can be explained to kids in a light hearted way.
