"I am upset" features a child dealing with a strong emotion represented as a beast. The book is about self-regulation of emotions and triggers, and is centered around the concept of peace. The child and the beast go through the process of grounding and attuning to five core senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste). The book was shortlisted fot the Batsford Prize 2023.
The illustrations are made with ink, graphite and colored digitally.
