The Gentle Life: A Guide to Survive Today

Merlin Evans | United Kingdom

In a world of increasing pressures, anxieties and general global uncertainty, this short illustrated picture book attempts to reconnect its viewers with the softer, more gentle acts in life that nourish and lift us up. From allowing our children to take up space, to looking after our eyes, 'A Gentle Life' was drawn for my daughter, to let her know that it's ok to slow down and to love the tiny small acts of being alive. I hope it will inspire other parents/families to slow down with their children and live a gentle life, or to survive the day.
