An illustrated children's book of the story “The Moon'', by The Brothers Grimm. The story follows four brothers who steal the moon and then later are buried with its parts consequently waking up the dead. The book was illustrated mostly in blue and black gouache with a second layer in orange pencil for the dead. I tried to emphasize the dramatic and compelling side to the story by minimizing the amount of colors and making the moon the only light source.
