Tom and his family have moved from the capital to a new house in a small town. The boy misses his old place. He wishes to return back home very much. He is sad.
Tom meets a neighbor girl Liliana who tells him about a legend of a wishing tree which is in that town and she wants to make a wish for a puppy. The children begin to search for the wishing tree together.
In this process the children explore interesting places, Tom makes friends with the neighbor girl, tries new activities and has fun. Finally they find the wishing tree but Tom is less eager to make the wish to return to his old home.
