A book about communication and mutual understanding. The time in which we live now has made us understand more than ever how important communication is, and how valuable it is to be understood. But we are talking not only about understanding people, but about understanding the world around us, the fragile invisible connections in it and our place in this network.
The book consists of two parts. The first part is made of dialogues between different characters - people, animals, insects, plants - demonstrating different types of communication, verbal and non-verbal. On each page of the first part, there are links to the corresponding pages from the second part, where there are instructions, infographics, and advanced data on one or another topic related to communication. The second part is designed like illustrated encyclopedia appendices. It contains both basic communication instructions, like Morse code, semaphore, sign language, etc., as well as many other types of communication - through pheromones, mycelia, communication through the body language of people and animals, through dance, clothes, the language of flowers, etc.
The graphic style of the illustrations is inspired by the language of visual instructions and manuals, with maximum expressiveness, where the main thing is emphasized with color.
