Way out at the far end of the headland lives the Fox. He leads a quiet life, collecting scrap he doesn’t really know what to do with, but that might come in handy sometime. One day a pelican on a bicycle comes by. The Pelican shows him photos from the big wide world and tells stories about all his experiences. After a while he has to continue his journey, but the visit has left the Fox with an idea. What if he were to build one of those bicycles like the one the Pelican had. He could use all the junk he has collected over the years. But it’s easier said than done building a bicycle… A story about what a new encounter can bring to your life and about making friends, despite differences.

Marcus-Gunnar Pettersson creates unique images and has illustrated many picture book texts. This time he has also written the story.
