Johanna Schaible | Switzerland
Billions of years ago, land took shape. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, people built some very large things. A month ago, it was still autumn. Where will you be in an hour? How will you celebrate your birthday next year? What will impress you forever? What do you wish for the future?
This book takes us on a journey through time. It begins in the distant past, catches up to the present midway through, and then leads us with its questions into the future. Both the fleeting present, which is gone in the blink of an eye, and the enormity of time are depicted in a truly unique way: the pages of the book become smaller as we draw closer to the present, only to grow larger again as we move into the future.
